i've decided to start a new work related blog. my last two jobs have been in rather niche industries, this current job even more so than the last. as such its been rather difficult to find any good blogs that talk about the industry and so i've started one myself. i'm hoping the blog will be useful to all travelers and that frequent travelers will leave comments about their experiences in-flight. so, what's the blog about? click on the link below to find out...

there's also one feature that i haven't really experienced yet. there's apparently a server-based image processing queue (for text recognition) which then allows you to search your notes for keywords found via the text recognition.

having lost a memory card on a trip several years ago when i heard about the site found cameras and orphan pictures on revision3's tekzilla #24 i thought this was a great idea. getting your lost camera and/or memory card back would be an added bonus but i'm sure most of use would be happy just to be able to get the images back for sentimental reasons alone. as the header on the site says...
the more people that know about this site increases the chances of lost pictures getting home which is why i decided to write up a post about it. at the very minimum, i know what i'm going to do in case i ever come across a lost camera and/or memory card.Tell your friends about this site and let's all try to return some of these lost pictures home.
now i just wish the site had a decent logo and perhaps stickers they could sell to be placed on your own camera and/or memory cards.
