so, there i was trying to get through the work day when a tweet on twitterrific catches my eye...

eerriinn: "Grrr i need google in my car to tell me where the closest circuit city is!"

now on twitterrific i only follow my friends feeds and not the public timeline so this is from a person i happen to be following. eerriinn on twitter also happens to be a neighbor of mine on vox (.erin.) and since i happen to know that she calls orange county home (orangecounty.groups.vox.com) i thought i would try something. since i was sitting at my desk in front of a computer with internet access i sent her a direct message via twitter...

haruszpapa: "this might be interesting...want help in finding a CC in OC?"

she responded with the area code she was in so i used the tubes to locate the nearest circuit city and sent her a direct message back with the address of the closest store. not sure if she if she got to the the circuit city and was able to make her purchase but it was cool being able to offer the assist.
